It was Buenification Day Tuesday and many BVU students got out and did volunteer work throughout the community. Some middle school and high school students also got involved in this long-standing tradition. Members of the BVU Soccer Team volunteered their time to wash the police cars and fire trucks. The soccer team has claimed this service project for four years in a row. BVU students share that this day allows for them to give back to the community that is giving them their education. At right, the Storm Lake Middle School Helping Hands group helped BVU students clean up Scout Park and the shoreline.
