Stations will be set up around the restaurant for the following regions: Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Campania, Calabria, and Sicily. Each participant will receive a "passport" to present as he or she takes a gastronomic tour of Italy. On the menu are Milanese rice ball, Bolognese filled tortellini, mozzarella caprese, swordfish roll with spicy tomato sauce, and cannoli. Each food will be paired with a wine from the region. As they "tour" Italy, Chef Jeremy Neppl and his assistants will educate participants about the foods and wines of each region.
Proceeds from this event will provide operational support for Arts on Grand. The event is being sponsored by Northwest Bank. Tickets are priced at $50 for members and $55 for nonmembers.
