Alma Jean Landgraf, age 81, of Omaha, Neb. and formerly of Storm Lake, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at her home in Omaha.

Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Alma Jean was born March 20, 1930 in Tracy, Minn. the daughter of John and Dorothy (Goreham) Landgraf. Growing up, Alma attended school in Storm Lake where she graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1948.

Alma was a lifelong Catholic and currently she was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Omaha. She worked in the healthcare profession at the University Hospitals in Omaha where she specialized in maternity care. Alma enjoyed reading and was an avid reader.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Eleanor Haselhoff of Storm Lake; 11 nieces and nephews: Al Jansen, Don Jansen, Steve Jansen, Barb Jansen, Mike Jansen, Rick Jansen, Theresa Drewes, Marcella Brabec, John Haselhoff, Ed Haselhoff, and Alice May; many great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Landgraf; sisters: Marian Jansen and Lucille Landgraf; brothers-in-law, Raymond Jansen and Joseph Haselhoff.
