Janice Kae Yetmar, 60, of Coon Rapids, Minn., formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, March 2 at her home in Coon Rapids.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8th at 9:45 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthews Church in Clare. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery near Clare.
Jan is survived by her husband, John; son, Adam of Fort Dodge; daughter, Amy (Chad) Hanson of Maple Grove, Minn.; three grandchildren, Gage Adam Coy of Corona, Calif.; Dylan and Ryan Hanson of Maple Grove, Minn.; step-mother, Peggy Seivert of Manson; siblings, Jean (John) Nardozzi of Naperville, Ill.; Jeff Sievert Mason City; John Seivert of West Allis, Wisc.; Judy (Dave) Shaver of Frisco, Texas; Jolene (David) Hidalgo of San Antonio, Texas; Betty (Robert) Hinde of Alta and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marian Seivert; and a sister, Joyce Seivert.
Janice Kae Sievert was born May 12, 1951 in Sibley. As a young girl she moved with her family to the Clare and Knierm area. She began her education at Manson. She graduated from Saint Edmond High School in 1969. She then attended and graduated from Omaha Business College. On Sept. 4, 1971, she was united in marriage to John Yetmar at St. Matthew's Church in Clare. The couple then established their home in Fort Dodge. Jan was a dedicated employee with Land O' Lakes for over 40 years. In 2002 Jan and John moved to Coon Rapids, Minn.
