Cornwell, Friders, Maher and Associates, P.L.C., CPA's have released an audit report on the Alta community School District.
The District's revenues totaled $6,934,841 for the year ended June 30, 2011, a 7.9 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included $3,142,681 in local tax, charges for service of $784,494, operating grants, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $1,257,075, unrestricted interest of $6,605 and other general revenues of $1,743,986.
Expenses for District's operations totaled $6,278,301, an 8.2 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $3,853,753 for instruction, $1,464,872 for students services, $677,569 for other expenditures and $282,107 for non-instructional programs.
