Notes from Maple Valley Ag 4-H Club
The regular meeting for the Maple Valley Ag 4-H Club was held Thursday, Dec. 29 at 6 p.m. at Century Lanes in Alta for bowling. Afterwards, back at Alta Elementary Gym a supper was served by hosts Drew Hinners, Camryn and Keaton Mork,and Kelsey, Kaity and Cole Brake.
The meeting was called to order by President Jeremy Peterson at 7:15 p.m. with 19 members in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Grace Newell. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were both given and approved.
Bills: Bowling at Century Lanes. This bill was approved.
Old Business: If you want a new club T-shirt, please sign up. If you are not in 4-H, please turn your enrollments and fees in ASAP.
New Business: 4-H day at ISU Women's Basketball Game is Jan. 14. State recognition applications are due no later than Feb. 1. Also please check the news re:COOL in the "Motivator." Be sure to remember to sign up for meeting hosts and other club duties.

The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H Pledge by Ashley Peterson. Presenters were Drew Hinners, Camryn and Keaton Mork, and Cole Brake. Keaton gave a presentation on antler hunting and also how to make a rack bottle opener. Drew gave a presentation on his swine project for the fair. Cole gave a presentation on his pet turtle, and Camryn gave a presentation on how to make a dessert salad.
The next meeting will be Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Alta Elementary Gym. Next meetings hosts are Sydney Berenschot and Jenny Carlson. The presenters will be Sydney and Jenny.
