David Mark Tucker, 60, formerly of Storm Lake, died at his home in Orlando, Fla. on Oct. 21, 2011, after a long illness.

David was born June 25, 1951 to Charles and Ruth (Newendorp) Tucker in Iowa City. In 1954 the family moved to Storm Lake where his father established a dental practice. Dave grew up in Storm Lake and graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1969. He graduated from Buena Vista University with a degree in business. For the majority of his life, Dave worked for General Electric in Minneapolis.

He is survived by his wife, Jodi, Orlando, Fla.; his parents Charles and Ruth, Charlotte, N.C.; his children: Angie, Madison, Wisc.; Todd and Mike and his wife, Kristie, Minneapolis, his sister, Connie and her husband, Dave Skibsted, Storm Lake; Beth and her husband, Dan Wilkinson, Charlotte, N.C. and Mary and her husband, Rick Paine, Nathrop, Colo.; his step-children: Andrew and Kristi. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jace and Amelia Tucker, Minneapolis, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
