Kham Chanchom, age 67, of Storm Lake, died July 1, 2011 at her home in Storm Lake.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will be at a later date in the Storm Lake Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Kham Chanchom was born Oct. 10, 1943 in Laos the daughter of Khambou and Intong Chanchom.

Kham was united in marriage to Doung Chanchom in Laos. Together, they were blessed with seven children: Donsavan, Patrick (Khamsone), Phetsamone, Somphone, Khamphanh, Malichanh, and Kair.

Kham and her family moved to California in 1983 and Storm Lake in 2009.

She enjoyed gardening, especially vegetables and was a very good cook. Kham enjoyed watching Thai movies with her family and friends. Kham treasured her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Donsavan (Chanchom) Luangpaserth; Patrick (Khamsone) Chanchom; Phetsamone Chanchom; Khamphanh Chanchom; Malichanh Chanchom; brothers: Hall Chanchom; Theo Chanchom; sisters: Phengta Chanchom; Kongkeo Keovilai; extended family and friends.

Kham was preceded in death by her husband, Doung Chanchom; parents, Intong and Khambou Chanchom; daughter, Somphone Chanchom; son, Kair Chanchom; brothers, Hari Chanchom and Lor Chanchom.
