Aubrey Mae Robilliard was born to Jeff and Samantha Robilliard at Hegg Memorial Hospital of Rock Valley, on Thursday, April 15th, 2010. Aubrey's short life was spent all in a hospital. But although she never slept in her own crib, changed diapers on her changing table, or bathed in her own bathroom, she was always at home because home is where mom and dad are, and they never left her side.
Aubrey Mae's personality was evident even as a newborn baby. She loved life, as shown by how hard she fought for it. She loved her family, as shown by how much she enjoyed them at her side. Aubrey liked being held and sung to by her big sister. She enjoyed the books her mom read to her and the prayers they said before bedtime. Aubrey had a short life, and during that time she dramatically touched the lives of hundreds. Her bravery is an example for all of us.
Aubrey is survived by her parents, Jeff and Samantha Robilliard of Rock Valley; sister, Halle Robilliard; grandparents: Frank and Claudia Hoskins of Storm Lake, Steve Robilliard and Renae Robilliard of Waseca, Minn.; great-grandparents: Marv Morford of Des Moines, Bill Robilliard of Faribault, Minn., Dan and Shirley Grabanski of Casselton, N.D.; aunts and uncles: Tony (Michelle) Kauten of Emmetsburg, Matt Hoskins of Ames, and Kristin Robilliard of Waseca, Minn.; cousins: Abby, Alex and Macy Kauten and Zach and Blake Groll.
