City of SL to remove 33 trees in campground

The City of Storm Lake approved a contract with Beaver Tree Service to remove 33 trees in Sunrise Park Campground at a rate of $1,650 a tree for a total price of $54,450 - to include hauling away and cleaning up all downed wood. Contractors are expected to begin removing trees this spring. The project was removed from the campground renovation project to reduce the cost of the renovation.
