The Alta Basketball cheerleaders held a cancer awareness "Pink Night"at the game Saturday night vs. Newell-Fonda. The evening was dedicated to those touched by cancer in any way with special dedication going to Kim Walsh and Kim Weiland, breast cancer survivors and moms of high school students, and a special friend Diane Radke currently undergoing cancer treatments. A cookie decorating station along with a raffle table raised money for the BVRMC oncology department. Prizes were handed out to the best dressed pink fans. The cheerleaders would like to thank all of the sponsors who helped make the evening such a huge success and a special thank you to the cheer moms for all their help and Beyond Pink for outfitting the cheerleaders in pink.
