Hanover Historical Society annual meeting is Sunday

Thursday, January 7, 2010
Richard Krosch, Pierson, will give a presentation of original stories and poems relating to life in the Midwest at the annual meeting of the Hanover Historical Society which will be held Sunday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, rural Alta. Mr. Krosch is a story teller who writes his own poetry about everyday activities--past and present-- often with a humorous twist.

The annual business meeting will include reports on activities of the past year, election of directors, and annual membership renewal. Membership information and donations may be sent to Hanover Historical Society, 1530 540th St, Cherokee, IA 51012.

The public is invited to attend this program. The restoration of the Hanover Village is a continuing project, and your assistance is welcomed.
