Design Elements and Principles of Art workshop Jan. 14

Iowa State University Extension is sponsoring a Design Elements and Principles of Art Workshop for 4-H youth, leaders and adult volunteers on Thursday, Jan. 14, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

What are the latest trends in home decorating? What do design elements and art principles have to do with 4-H? This exciting workshop will begin at "Elements" in Storm Lake where we'll see first-hand what's new in home decorating colors, styles and accessories. The workshop will end at the ISU Extension Office in Storm Lake exploring the new "Home Improvement Design Decisions" manual and viewing some exciting Web Sites that will help with 4-H exhibits for fair.

Because we will be touring "Elements," pre-registration is needed by Wednesday, Jan. 13.
