Successful food drive

Alta Municipal Utilities and the City of Alta are pleased to announce the donations for the 3rd Annual Food Drive have exceeded the goal of 3,000 pounds. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that contributed or assisted in making this goal a reality.

This Christmas season was especially stressful for many people with the onset of the major snowstorm. Your generosity and compassion relieved some of the stress for the unfortunate people that also wondered how to purchase their next meal. You deserve a pat on the back for making this another successful Christmas Holiday.

It would be nice to see the need for the Lord's Cupboard go away. Unfortunately, we don't see that happening, so we will plan on a 4th annual food drive next winter.

We would like to remind everyone that following this huge success we must not forget that the need of the Lord's Cupboard is not seasonal. We urge you to find it in your heart to continue to support the Lord's Cupboard throughout the year. We wish you a very healthy and prosperous year in 2010.
