TORNADOES DANCE TO HONORS

The Storm Lake High School Dance Team competed at the state competition over the weekend and came home with two trophies and recognition for academic achievement. Under the direction of Co Wabeke, the girls earned second place in the large school division of hoopla and fourth place in Class 10 pom. They also received recognition for attaining a 3.4 grade point average as a team. Over 4,000 girls competed in the state contests held at Vets Auditorium on Friday and Saturday.
