New Business: Enrollment forms and fees are due by Dec 1st, turn into Cindy. Parents can still sign up for parent volunteer jobs. MVA 4-H'ers judged the Pumpkin Hollow coloring contest posters: Winners were announced: Boy winner was John Schmitt from Schaller Crestland School and girl winner was Jessica Larson from Alta School. Thanks to the over 350 children who entered the coloring contest and Farm Bureau and Walmart for sponsoring the bike winning prize.
Food and Nutrition workshop: Nov. 10 at the extension office. Shooting sports find out night: Nov. 12.
MVA caroling event will be held on Dec. 6, meet at Wel Life in Alta at 6 p.m. Sign up to bring a dozen cookies to share with those who we visit, this is a leadership project for Ashley Peterson.
Plan to attend the BV County 4-H recognition event to be held on Nov. 15, at Storm Lake High School.
Beef weigh-in is scheduled for Dec, 12 from 9-11:30 a.m. at Alta Livestock. We will have a gift exchange at our December meeting. Bring a $5 gift to exchange.
We adjourned the meeting with the 4-H pledge led by Justine Ryherd.

MVA's next meeting will be held Dec. 5 at the Alta Elementary gym at 7 p.m. Hosts will be Kelsy and Kaity Brake, Nate Harmes, Haven Chase, Lesa andKatie Turnquist.
