Jammin' for Zalin

Jammin' for Zalin! - a fundraiser for an Alta family - is being planned for Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Marathon Community Center with four of the area's favorite classic rock cover bands,

Zalin Linke, 2-year-old son of A.J. and Libby Linke of Alta, was recently diagnosed with Pontine Glioma, a malignant, inoperable cancerous tumor on the back of the brain. He is currently receiving radiation treatments.

The Jammin' for Zalin! show begins at 4 p.m. and is open to all ages. Tickets are $5. Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. In addition to lots of great music, there will be food, a silent auction and more.

Performing at Jammin' for Zalin! are Slow Jam, the Jacob Lee Band, Third Warning and Tantrum 2 Blind.
