Raffle tickets for St. Mary's Ball being sold online now

St. Mary's Parish and School are kicking off their Big Raffle ticket sales this week with an on-line option. A limited 400 - $100 raffle tickets will be sold to raise money for the local preK-12 Catholic school. The grand prize for the drawing will be $10,000 with two $1,000 prizes, two $500 prizes and one $2,000 Early Bird prize (if purchased by Dec. 31, 2009).

New this year -- donors may securely purchase their raffle tickets on-line at stormlakecatholic.com. The parish and school purchased and installed a Secure Socket Layer for the safety of donors. A Visa or MasterCard are the only forms of payment that can be used on-line.

For those who prefer to pay by check, there are 11 raffle ticket salespeople available to sell tickets to donors. Bob Lenhart and Mike Pertzborn are co-chairs of the raffle, assisted by Mary Drey, Dan Jones, John Keenan, Francis Koch, Bill and Leigh Laven, John Murray, Dawn Prosser and Dan Richardson. Raffle tickets may also be purchased at the parish offices at 320 Seneca Street or by calling (712)732-3110 during office hours.

Winners will be drawn following the Live Auction at the St. Mary's Ball and Charity Auction on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Winners do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle and the auction benefit the operation of St. Mary's School. Students of all faiths attend St. Mary's School. Raffle winners are responsible for all taxes and fees.
