Seng Seebunhevang, age 48, of Storm Lake, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will was in the Storm Lake Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of the arrangements.
Seng Khalek was born on June 15, 1960, the daughter of Air and Khamla Khalek in M.Phieng/Sayaburry.
In 1978, Seng was united in marriage to Sai Seebunhevang in Chonburi, Thailand. This union was blessed with three children: Wieng, Champa and Mai Don.
Seng was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. Nothing brought her greater pleasure, than spending time with her family, especially praying with her grandchildren. She loved the time she spent with her family and friends, as well as visiting with company.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Sai Seebunhevang of Storm Lake; her children: Wieng Seebunhevang (Bounthong) Khamnoy of Storm Lake; Champa (Mai) Phompong of Storm Lake; and Mai Don (Cody) Cook of Storm Lake; grandchildren: Nicole Phompong, Mickey Phompong, Amanda Phompong, Melanie Khamnoy, Macy Khamnoy and Kyle Khamnoy; one brother, Nean Khalek; one sister, Boa Khalek; extended family and friends.
