S-C knocks off Sac City

EARLY - Kelly Rydberg rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns, and Matt Reimers ran for 146 yards and one touchdown to power Schaller-Crestland to a 30-8 win over Sac City in a Class A district game on Friday night.

Schaller-Crestland rushed for 333 yards in the game to the Indians' 47.

"The offensive line played a great game," said Schaller-Crestland coach Dale Tokheim. "We executed our offense and finally came out with a win."

Rydberg had touchdown runs of 63 and 55 yards, while Reimers scored from 4 yards out.

The Wildcats opened the scoring with a 24-yard TD pass from Justin Bellcock to Tim Galvin.

Reimers and Wes Turnquist led the Wildcats on defense with 10 tackles apiece. David Bloyer added six.
