The facts are that the pork checkoff program has been good for Iowa family farmers. If you want proof, consider these facts:

The "Pork: The Other White Meat" promotional effort has been one of the most successful ad campaigns in America.

Today's checkoff is collected from all producers (in every state) and importers. We are now a net exporter of pork rather than a net importer.

There has been a 17 percent increase in pork usage at restaurants as a result of efforts funded by the checkoff dollars.

That's good news for family farmers. And these are the facts that convinced me to vote "yes" for the national pork checkoff. Please consider the facts and join me...
