First Federal Savings officers join IBA committees

First Federal Savings Bank of the Midwest is pleased to announce that Lisa Binder and Sue Jesse have been named to three-year terms on Iowa Bankers Association's (IBA) committees.

Binder serves on the IBA Marketing committee. The marketing committee implements programs that promote the banking industry throughout Iowa. It also develops marketing-related educational programs for bankers and coordinates communication between bank marketers across the state. Binder, Director of Marketing and Sales, has been with First Federal for eight years. She was recently promoted to the corporate position of Assistant Secretary. Her responsibilities include managing all First Federal sales and marketing efforts, and supporting all other bank divisions.

Jesse joins the IBA Compliance Committee. The compliance committee strives to enhance education and communication between bankers and regulators, hosts and annual compliance conference, and supports statewide compliance peer networking. Jesse, Senior Vice President, has been with First Federal over 25 years. Her areas of responsibility include supervision of the Storm Lake main office, First Federal branch administration and assuring regulatory compliance for all bank divisions.
