The group Go Fish, will be in concert on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Schaller Memorial Chapel.
Go Fish has been described as "The Best New Artists in the Midwest." Using vocals and percussion only, Go Fish is successfully carving out a musical niche quite unique in the Christian music industry. These four individuals are opening up a whole new world in ministry and vocal music.
At their concert, you will hear tight harmonies and see four guys with a lot of energy, and it is their prayer that you will experience a time of tremendous ministry. In the past, Go Fish has opened up for such artists as Point of Grace, Jaci Valequez, Margaret Becker and Big Tent Revival. Singer Jamie Statema writes, "the number one comment that we get about our music is, 'You guys are the one group that the whole family can agree on!' That is amazing to us. While this group will always be focused on today's youth, it has been an incredible experience to see our music cross some major age barriers. We've had everyone from young kids to older adults showing up at our concerts. It's cool to see how music can bring people together."
Doors will open at 7 p.m. Youth groups, young adult ministries and all people who are young-at-heart within your faith community are invited to this 2000 Fall Concert event. Tickets will be sold at the door or can be picked up at Anderson's Christian Bookstore at 5th and Lake Avenue in Storm Lake.
