Tonic Sol-Fa is returning to Storm Lake for a special holiday concert. The concert will be held in Schaller Memorial Chapel on the Buena Vista University campus, on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at 7:30 p.m. The word TONIC SOL-FA, actually found in the dictionary, means to make music using the base notes - do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do.
General admission tickets are $10 and will go on sale at the Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce office on Oct. 30. Tickets will also be available by mail. For concert or ticket information, contact the local promoters, Kris and Matt Pearson at 712-732-2766 or email@example.com. This concert is presented by G.L. Berg & Associates Entertainment of St. Cloud, Minn.
Tonic Sol-Fal is one of the hottest performing musical groups to come out of the Midwest, igniting crowds from coast to coast. With their dynamic mixture of styles and sizzling presence, they are rapidly becoming a nationally recognized a cappella sensation. Unlike "boy bands," no pre- recorded music is used-all of their music comes from their own voices.
Tonic Sol-Fa has appeared at the Buena Vista County Fair for the past four years, plus several other locations around the area. They also opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic at both the Minnesota State Fair and the Clay County Fair this year.
