POMEROY - Nick Ford threw touchdown passes of 47 and 14 yards to help send Pomeroy-Palmer to a 31-22 win over Schaller-Crestland in a Class A district game Friday night at Pomeroy.

Schaller-Crestland built a 15-8 lead at the half on large part to a 6-yard TD run by Kelly Rydberg and a 1-yard plunge by Wes Turnquist.

Ford, however, threw two TD passes to put the Knights right back in the game.

"Right before half they scored on a 47-yard pass," Schaller-Crestland coach Dale Tokheim said. "They had the momentum after that," Tokheim said.

The Wildcats' final touchdown came on a 9-yard pass from Justin Bellcock to Matt Reimers.

Rydberg led the Wildcats offense by rushing for 133 yards on 10 carries. Reimers had 99 yards on 23 attempts.

Reimers led the Wildcats on defense with eight tackles. Rydberg and Turnquist each made seven.
