Time to dig out your photos, albums and supplies and get going again on your photo album scrapbooks. Instructor Jane McClinton will be offering a Photo Album Workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at South Cafeteria.
Begin a vacation album with those great photos from your summer vacation. Catch up on that pile of photos that "blossomed" over the summer. Begin an album for your graduate now, instead of panicking in the spring. Start a School Days album for your grade schooler. Do a mini "Brag Book" of that new grandchild. Begin an album to give as a Christmas gift to your spouse, parent or special friend. The ideas are endless.
Learn how to turn your boxes of photos and memorabilia into family keepsakes. New enrollees will meet with the instructor for the first hour and will be taught photo organization, preservation and creative scrap booking. After this instruction period, the instructor will help you put together a page to start your album. She will provide all of the supplies to do the first page. Bring along a few groups of pictures such as vacations, birthday parties, weddings or Christmas. Former enrollees may attend any part or all of the class. Feel free to come and go according to your schedule. There will be plenty of room for everyone to spread out their albums on the tables.
You need to register by Monday, Sept. 25 with Comm "UNITY" Education at 419 Lake Avenue. The registration fee is $10 for new enrollees plus $2.50 for materials and $5 for continuing enrollees.
