The Witter Gallery will host a Fall Arts Festival on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 609 Cayuga Street in Storm Lake. This event will feature the sale of quality artwork created by area artists. The gallery will also be conducting a raffle of artwork donated by several of the participating artists. In addition, a bake sale and musical entertainment throughout the day will add to the festive atmosphere and lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at a cost of $4 per person.

Stephan Banwart, Storm Lake, oil paintings; Wally Becker, LeMars, antler carvings; Francis Brenneman, Kalona, pencil drawings; Judie Campbell, Sioux City, pottery; Pottery, wildlife bronzes and paintings by the Russell Christensen family, Neola; Shannon Holmberg, Storm Lake, photography; Rosanna Morrow, Newell, photography; Chuck Noble, Cherokee, pottery; Bettina Perkins, Anthon, watercolors; watercolors and prints by Atlanta Sampson, Toeterville; D.K. Solomon, Macomb, Ill., fused glass jewelry; Marj Wadsley, Nemaha, mixed media/sculpture/jewelry.
All items in the Witter Gift Gallery will also be available for sale, including a large selection of new pottery by SLHS art instructor Ron Netten. The Gift Gallery contains a variety of hand painted porcelain by Marilyn Mittelstadt, as well a notecards, jewelry, silk scarves, music, pottery and paintings by area artists.
