So what does the original drummer for The Beatles do when he comes to Iowa?
Well, he goes to a parade, signs autographs, plays some softball and then plays rock music like you wouldn't believe.
Pete Best, the "Fifth Beatle," will appear in the Big Parade for the Star Spangled Spectacular on the Fourth of July and sign autographs in the Artist's Alley. That afternoon he will play in the Rembrandt softball tournament before taking the stage that evening with his band for a classic Rembrandt Street Dance.
Pete Best is the original Beatles drummer, playing with the world's most influential pop band from 1960 to 1962. He played more than 1,000 shows with The Beatles, which included three tours of Germany.
