The officers and employees of Kuehl and Payer, Ltd. invite the public to a 20th anniversary open house on Friday, May 9, at Kuehl and Payer's Storm Lake office, located at 1725 North Lake Avenue in Storm Lake. This will coincide with the Chamber Coffee that Kuehl and Payer will host that day. The hours are 10 to noon.

The firm was established in Storm Lake on May 1, 1983, by Neal R. Kuehl, P.E., and Robert F., Payer, P.E, to provide professional engineering services to cities, counties, industries and individuals in northwest Iowa.

In 1996, Kuehl and Payer opened the Algona office.

Municipal administrative consultation and executive recruitment services were added in 1999, and water and wastewater operator services for small Iowa communities were also added the same year. In 2001 Kuehl and Payer acquired the assets of Sac City Surveying and Mapping and assumed operation of the Sac City office.

In addition to Mr. Kuehl and Mr. Payer, licensed professionals who have acquired ownership in the firm are Donald D. Etler, P.E. (1989), J. Scott Shevel, L.S. (1992), Ivan D. Droessler, P.E. (1994), Curtis R. Wiseman, P.E, (1996) and Thomas W.G. Edgerton L.S. (2000).
