Iowa Artists annual art show to be held

The Iowa Artists Annual Area I and V Art Show will be held at the Witter Gallery in Storm Lake from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. The show is open to all artists 18 years or older.

Counties in Area I and V include Lyon, Dickinson, Emmet, Sioux, Woodbury, Ida, Sac, Monona, Osceola, O'Brien, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Cherokee, Buena Vista and Crawford.

Three works may be entered into the show. Two-dimensional works include paintings, drawings and printmakings that have a maximum dimension of four feet in either direction. Three-dimensional works include ceramics, sculpture, fibers and textiles.

All work must be original stemming from the artist's own experience. No copies in whole or part, kits, or crafts will be accepted. Work must have been done within the past two years.

First, second third and honorable mention ribbons will be awarded. First place winners will be eligible to enter their works in the Iowa Artists State Show, which will be held in May.

Pre-registration is required by Sunday, March 23.
