Don't forget the children in unstable times
Juli Kwikkel, Principal at East and West Elementaries in Storm Lake, visited Washington, DC, last week to bring the views of school principals and their communities to Congress.
With the nation at war, the economy unstable, and the terrorism threat continuing, Kwikkel urged members of the 108th Congress not to slight the educational needs of American school children.
Kwikkel and approximately 50 K-8 principals from almost every state met in Washington, DC, for the annual Federal Relations Conference sponsored by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP).
