The Buena Vista County Board of Supervisors will sit down today to start making decisions on the 2003-04 fiscal year budget.
Supervisors heard from all of the county department heads during three days of meetings last week.
Supervisor Chair Herb Crampton said it is too soon to tell if the board of supervisors will have to consider any tax increases. He hopes the board can sit down today and see how the total department requests add up to expected revenue.
"We'll probably know after tomorrow," he said.
The supervisors did not ask departments for any across the board cuts, but requested that all expenditures be reviewed to make sure they are necessary.
