Panthers have little trouble with Knights
Marisha Imming scored a career-high 13 points to help propel Storm Lake St. Mary's to a 44-21 victory over Pomeroy-Palmer on Tuesday night at Pomeroy.
St. Mary's jumped out to a 16-5 lead after the first quarter. The Panthers extended the lead to 28-9 by halftime and held a 40-19 lead after three periods of play.
Kassie Drey scored 10 points for the Panthers, while Michelle Drey added eight. Kassie Drey charted five rebounds and five assists. Imming tallied five steals for the Panthers, now 3-3 in the league and 6-4 overall.
St. Mary's made 21 of 41 field goals for 51 percent. Pomeroy-Palmer was 9 of 32 from the field for 28 percent.
