Beginning computers

This popular class is back for the new year! Beginning Computer will be on two Wednesdays, January 15 and 22 from 6:30-8 pm at the Storm Lake High School.

This class is designed for those who want to start at the very beginning and learn at their own pace with an experienced instructor at their side. Learn basic Windows operations, Microsoft Word, games, printing and other simple programs.

Register with CommUNITY Education at 419 Lake Avenue by Monday, January 13. Registration fee is only $15.

CE brings back Basic First Aid

Basic First Aid and lifesaving CPR techniques for adults, infants and children will be taught by a certified instructor on 3 Wednesdays beginning January 15th from 6-9 pm at the Middle School.

Successful completion of the course gives American Red Cross CPR certification for one year and First Aid for 3 years. Registration fee is $45, which includes a manual and certification.

Register with CommUNITY Education at 419 Lake Avenue by Monday, January 13th.

Knowing nutrition and supplements

Get the latest information regarding nutritional supplements from a professional on Wednesday, January 15th from 6:30-8 pm at the Middle School Media Center.

Mike Porsch, Registered Pharmacist, will answer your questions: Do we really need supplements? What should we take? How much should we take? What criteria do we use in making our choices? Should children be taking nutritional supplements?

Registration fee of $12 is due by Monday, January 13th to CommUNITY Education at 419 Lake Avenue.
