Randall Lee Wiseman, 41, of Elgin, Texas, died on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, at his mother's home in Aurelia after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 2, at 12 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake with the Reverend Duane Queen of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Storm Lake, officiating.
The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
Randall Lee Wiseman was born Dec. 17, 1960, in Storm Lake, the son of Thomas A. and Sandra (Davis) Wiseman. He attended Crestland Schools, graduating with the class of 1979.
When Randy was two he filled his aunt Marjorie Miller's rain gauge with two inches of water. She phoned KAYL and reported a false reading on the air.
Randy worked as a bartender and owned and operated both the Riverside Inn and the Wild Turkey. He enjoyed hunting, fishing for perch, gardening and horseback riding.
He is survived by his father Thomas, Elgin, Texas; mother, Sandra Millikan, Aurelia; children Amanda and Ashley Wiseman, Kerrville, Texas, Trevor and Cheyenne Wiseman, Louisiana, and Dalton Wiseman; brothers Tim Wiseman, Sioux Rapids, Mike Wiseman and wife Cindy, Alta, Cody Wiseman, Santa Fe, Texas; sister Kelle Wiseman, Aurelia; grandmother Colette Wiseman, Sac City; nieces and nephews Matt and Michelle Hamilton, Nikki Wiseman, Kylie Wiseman, Nicholas Wiseman and Christopher Wiseman; two great-aunts Dorothy Redenbaugh and Marjorie Miller; along with many other relatives and friends.
His grandmother Betty Davis and grandfathers Vern Wiseman and Lloyd Davis preceded him in death.
