Mass of the Christian burial for Adelaide R. Buelt, 82, of Fonda, was held Friday, November 8, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Fonda with Reverend Thomas Hart and Reverend Eldon Sullivan.
Interment is in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fonda.
MaHaney Funeral Home, Fonda, is in charge of arrangements.
Adelaide R. Buelt, daughter of Hugo and Katherine (Renze) Werner, was born October 3, 1920 at Roselle. She passed away November 5, 2001 at the Fonda Nursing and Rehab Center in Fonda, at the age of 82 years.
Adelaide received her education at Roselle Catholic Schools. She married Albert H. Buelt on February 4, 1941 at Carroll. They farmed northwest of Fonda for many years. After the death of her husband in 1966 she moved into Fonda where she lived until her death. Adelaide was a cook at O.L.G.C. school. She is survived by five children: Betty Kaye (Gary) Imhoff, Lohrville, Ron (Ruth) Buelt of Warsaw, IL, peg (Ray) Wilson of Sioux Rapids, Rick (Bonnie) Buelt, Fonda, and Rhonda (Steve) Schoon of Eldridge. She had eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Randy, Brian, Tim and Todd Imhoff, Lyn Marchant, Craig Wilson, Doug and Greg Buelt and Laura and Carolyn Schoon. She has a brother, Ray Werner of Austin, Minn. and a sister, Velma Reisselman of Manning. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Albert.
