Incumbents win in the county

Thursday, November 7, 2002

Incumbency seemed to be the key for county elections on Tuesday, with voters re-electing the three incumbents running in contested races.

Incumbents Jim Gustafson and Dick Vail were re-elected to the board of supervisors, while Shari O'Bannon won another term as county recorder.

Bill Lanphere easily beat a write-in campaign, while incumbents Kathy Bach and Phil Havens were also re-elected as county treasurer and county attorney respectively.

All of the candidates voiced their appreciation for the support they received throughout their campaigns following the election.
