Aurelia church to host harvest dinner

Aurelia Methodist Church is hosting a Fall Harvest Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 10, starting at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The menu will be: Turkey and Dressing, Ham balls, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, salad bar, buns, assorted pies, cookies, cake, and beverage.

Cost of the entire feast will be grades 6 - 12 and adults, $6.50, grades K - 5, $3 with preschool children free. Carryouts will be available.

Christian Women's Club to hold meeting

Pocahontas Christian Women's Club will meet at the Legion Building (South of the swimming pool), in Pocahontas on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 11:30 a.m. Cost will be $6.50 with music by the Elbert girls from Palmer. Special feature with Anne McVicar, Concordia, Kan. will be lighthearted glimpses into an English Girl's Life as she shares some English heritage and customs. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Galva church to host ham supper event

The Galva United Methodist Church 20th Annual Ham Supper will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, with serving from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Adults and all Carry Outs are $7, children ages 6-10 are $4. Children five and under are free. Children's tickets are for use only in the dining room. Carry Outs are available at the west end of the church. The public is invited.
