Joel Corlew rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and Dru Leyden had 94 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Alta thumped Lawton-Bronson 49-0 in its season finale on Friday night at Alta.
"I thought our kids did a good job of coming out and playing hard from the start of the game," Alta coach Kevin Hammer said. "We wanted to set the tone early. We got some good blocking from our linemen and Joel and Dru ran hard early and we got the big lead."
Alta ran for 287 yards in the game and passes for 87 yards. Corlew had 141 yards on just five carries.
Alta struck first when Corlew scampered 75 yards for a touchdown. Jamie Hammer ran in the two-point conversion.
Leyden then ripped off a 44-yard TD jaunt. Leyden would later add a 3-yard run to make it 20-0 Alta by the end of the first quarter.
Alta scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to go ahead 41-0. Corlew had a 55-yard run, Joey Ciechanowski a 1-yard plunge and Thomas Allerdings caught a 4-yard pass from Hammer.
Alta's defense held the Eagles to just 33 yards rushing on 30 carries and 44 yards passing for a total of just 77 yards in total offense.
Ciechanowski led the Cyclones on defense with 10 tackles. Jarrod Garrison had nine and Stille eight.
Alta finished the season 6-3 overall.
