Alyssa Ridout of Alta, and Ryan Rusk of Linn Grove, were united in marriage on July 6, held outside at the Rusk farm in Linn Grove with Pastor Doug Corlew officiating.

Maid of honor was Gina Ridout, sister of the bride, Alta. Bridesmaids were Brooke Engellman, Storm Lake; Maria Vangsnes, Orange City; Angie Faber, Omaha, and Leah Elder, Aurelia, all friends of the bride; Best man was Brian Devries, friend of groom, from Pella. Groomsmen were Darron Rusk, brother of groom, Linn Grove; Damon Rusk, brother of groom, Eden Prairie, MN; Trever Gilkerson, friend of groom, Brookings, SD; Brian Rock, friend of groom.

The reception was held at Summit Evangelical Free Church. Hosts and Hostess were Frank and Brenda Halverson, Linn Grove and Bruce and Jill Engelmann, Storm Lake. Cake-cutters were Kathy Sautter, Mason City; Ann Murray, Pine Island, MN. At the guest book was Holly Halverson, friend of the bride. At the gift table was Rachel and Justine Von Arb, cousins of the bride. Personal attendants were Erin Rusk, of Linn Grove, sister-in-law of the groom, and Stephanie Haila, friend of the bride, of Ames. Ring Bearer was Brady Rusk, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Stephen Bloom, Marathon, Tony Hansen, Omaha, and Luke Ridout, brother of bride. Vocalists were Josh Weiland, friend of couple, and Rokk Ridout, father of bride.

Alyssa was a 1998 graduate of Alta High School, and a graduate of Northwestern College majoring in Elementary Education, and is employed as a substitute teacher near Ames. Ryan was a 1997 graduate of Sioux Central High School, and a graduate of Dordt College majoring in Agriculture, and is now employed at ISU where he is getting his masters in Sustainable Ag. (2003)

After a wedding trip to Grand Marais, MN. the couple now resides in Ames.
