Gentlemen, start your engines

Two hundred rare antique, memory-sparking classics, sleek sports cars and powerful muscle machines fired up Sunday to begin their 1000-mile rally through northwest Iowa and the adjacent states. The tour will spend its final overnight at Storm Lake on Thursday, where all the cars will be on Lake Avenue for an informal public show from 5:30-7 p.m., complete with a local SERPACI car display, music from the 1950s and '60s and other special events. The public is encouraged to come out and meet the drivers and join in the fun.
