Marlene Ann (Boell) Heuton, age 66, of Albert City, died Monday, September 30, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Albert City.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 2, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Albert City. Burial was in the Carroll Cemetery in Carroll.
The Sliefert Funeral Home of Albert City was in charge of arrangements.
Marlene Ann Boell was born in Carroll, on July 20, 1936, the daughter of Floyd and Eva June (Calloway) Boell. Marlene graduated from Carroll High School in 1954.
On May 15, 1955, Marlene was married to Roland Heuton in the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Carroll. While living in Carroll, Marlene worked as a legal secretary as well as being a homemaker. After the couple moved to Albert City, Marlene worked in the school lunchroom and was an Avon representative.
Marlene was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, the West Friendly Circle Club and the Golden Rule Club. She enjoyed working on the computer and crocheting, as well as spending time with her family.
Marlene's family includes her husband Roland; four sons: Randy Heuton, Tim Heuton and his wife Kathy, Brad Heuton and his wife Deanna all of Albert City, Gary Heuton and his wife Traci of Marathon; seven grandchildren: Melissa and Laura Heuton of Ames, Jake, Tyler and Dallas Heuton of Albert City, Shelby and Caitlyn Heuton of Marathon and Bailey Heuton of Albert City; two sisters-in-law: Violet Boell of Carroll, and Mary Boell of Bemidji, MN.
Preceding Marlene in death were her parents; her father-in-law, Clarence Heuton; her daughter Susanne Heuton; a daughter-in-law Neva Heuton and two brothers: Don and Bill Boell.
