Elizabeth Alice Andersen, age 89, of Lincoln, formerly of Storm Lake, died August 18, 2002.
She was born June 10, 1913 in Hastings, NE., to Dr. Carl K. and Evelyn (Gilbert) Struble. She was a University of Nebraska graduate. She is a former Ak-Sar-Ben Countess, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, and member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church, in Storm Lake.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 21, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln, Ne., with Reverend Matt Geiger officiating. Burial was in the Ridge Cemetery, Fremont, NE. Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Carol Andersen, Lincoln, NE.; daughter and son-in-law Susan and David Ungerer, Vienna, VA; grandchildren and spouses Jeff and Kelly Andersen, Shannon and Rich Butalla, Niki and Joe Schiegelmuch, all of Lincoln, NE., Christian and Tiffany Condit, Kansas City, KS., Sarah and Camerou Smith, South Fort, NC.; six great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law Jack Meidrum, Buffalo, WY., Harry Zimmerman, Temecula, CA.; nieces and spouses Ann and Bud Sidles, Lincoln, NE., Louise and Dr. Dale Anderson, Buffalo, WY.; nephew and spouse: Gordy and Sherry Lee Meldrum, Denver, CO.; grandniece Joy Anderson, Lincoln, NE.; grandnephew Dr. Gil Carl Zimmerman, Temecula, CA.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother and sister-in-law: Dr Gilbert and Viola Struble; a sister Dorothy Zimmerman, twin sisters and brother-in-law: Hazel and Harold Stebbins, and Helen Meldrum.
