Opens business out of home
The next time dog owners in the Alta area notice their pet's ears need washing or dirty hair needs cleaning, they won't have to clear out the baththub to make room for Rex to sit or sift through a basket of combs to find one that is just right to smooth out Spot's hair.
They'll simply be able to take Taffy or Lily down to the newest local dog grooming salon, Poochie-Do.
Former Alta preschool teacher Deanna Goslinga opened the business in her home at 805 Main Street in Alta on the first of June, a venture she said came from her own difficulty in finding a place to take her own dog for salon services.
