Iowa Central to offer teacher certification classes this fall

Several courses leading to elementary and secondary teacher certification will be offered by the Iowa Central Community College Storm Lake Center starting in September.

* Introduction to Education will be held on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. for 15 consecutive weeks. A second section will be held for 15 consecutive Thursday evenings from 4 - 7:20 p.m. A third section will be offered on Tuesdays from 6:15 - 9:35 p.m. for 15 consecutive weeks.

* Education and Teaching Process will be held for 15 consecutive Wednesdays from 4 - 6 p.m.

* Children's Literature will be held on Thursdays from 6:15 - 9:53 p.m. for 15 consecutive weeks.

* Human Growth and Development will be held for 15 consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:15 - 9:35 p.m. A second section of the class will be offered from 9 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. for 15 consecutive Wednesdays.

* General Psychology will be held for 15 consecutive Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-2:30 p.m. A second section of the course will be held on Monday evenings from 6:15-9:35 p.m. for 15 consecutive weeks.

* Educational Psychology will be held for 15 consecutive Monday evenings from 6:15 - 9:35 p.m.

* English I will be offered on Thursday afternoons from 1 - 4:20 p.m. for 15 consecutive weeks.
