Arne Ingemar Larson, age 82, formerly of Alta, died Monday, July 15, at his home in Eloy, Arizona.
The funeral service was held in Eloy. Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Scandinavian Cemetery, rural Alta with Reverend D. Duane Olson presiding.
The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home of Storm Lake is in charge of local arrangements.
Arne Ingemar Larson was born January 25, 1920 in Morup, Sweden the second son of Carl S. and Anna (Larson) Larson. The family arrived in Alta in 1923, where they were engaged in farming. The family farm was east of Alta on the land that is now the site of Hill Chiropractic Office.
Arne was a graduate of Alta High School. He was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alta. He lived in Arizona for 42 years, making his home in Eloy since 1987.
His family includes his brother Folke Ewald Larson, who resides at the Buena Vista Manor, Storm Lake.
Arne was preceded in death by his father in 1974 and his mother in 1978.
