In connection with the Citywide events of "Remembering September Eleventh" that are to take place in Storm Lake on the First Anniversary of our national tragedy, all area artists, poets, writers and the general public are encouraged to enter their works reflecting their thoughts and feelings about the tragic events of September Eleventh.

Poems, and prose pieces no longer than one page are sought from all age groups. Paintings (not larger than 16"x24"), visual and graphic arts works in any media are also welcomed from artists of all age ranges. Other ideas for expression are also welcome.

To be considered for selection to the BV County Historical Museum Archives these works can be send to "The Poets' Corner," in care of Storm Lake Witter Gallery, 609 Cayuga Street, Storm Lake, Iowa 50588

These entries must be received by September 5th, 2002. Those entries which are selected will be deposited at the BV County Historical Museum Archives after they are exhibited.

The written entries will be displayed at the Public Library, and the art works will be at the Witter Gallery.
