Selena Rose Gebel and Kyle Armin Christiansen exchanged vows on September 1, in Cedar Falls. Parents of the couple are Denny and Terri Gebel of Cedar Falls, and Armin and Dawn Christiansen of Early. The Reverend John Haugen performed the 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Stephen's Catholic Student Center. Matron of honor was Carrie Atherton. Also attending the bride were Lisa Sitzmann of Kansas City, MO., Carrie Christiansen of Early, sister of the groom; and Ryan Sharpe and Nichole Sharpe, both of Cedar Falls.

Best man for his brother was Aaron Christiansen of Ankeny. Also attending the groom were Jared Carlson of Des Moines, Jason Wadsley of Eden Prairie, MN., friends of the couple, and Luke Gebel and Ben Gebel, brothers of the bride. Flower girl was Emma Davenport of North Liberty, niece of the groom, and ring bearer was Zachary Christiansen of Ankeny, nephew of the groom. Seating guests were; Todd Davenport of North Liberty, brother-in-law of the groom; Brian King of Phoenix, and Wayne Drehs of Bristol, Conn.

Selena is a service coordinator for Early Childhood Connections, and Kyle is a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer for J.D.Edwards both in Littleton, CO. After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico the couple reside in Highlands Ranch, CO.
