Funeral services for Lillian (Tillie) Huber, 93, of Storm Lake, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, with Pastor Douglas Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery, Storm Lake. Sliefert Redig Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Lillian died Wednesday, July 3, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center.

Lillian Marie Heimsoth was born January 9, 1909, the daughter of William and Mary (Schumaker) Heimsoth near Aurelia. She was baptized January 18, 1909, at St. John's Lutheran Church at Hanover and confirmed in 1923. Tillie attended St. John's Lutheran School at Hanover, and graduated from the Aurelia High School in 1928. On September 8, 1936, Tillie married John W. (Bill) Huber at Dakota City, NE. She worked at various restaurants in Storm Lake, and bought Ella's Cafe from her sister Ella. After selling Ella's she worked for Ken-A-Bob until she was 80 years old. She became a resident of Buena Vista Manor on May 4, 2000. Tillie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake and enjoyed quilting at church.

Preceding Tillie in death were her parents; husband Bill on March 19, 1967; two sisters, Florence Stromberg and Ella Dodge; one brother, Erwin Heimsoth.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Lorene Heimsoth of Storm Lake; eight nieces and nephews, Pat and her husband Paul Grumley of Creston, Robert and his wife Beverly Heimsoth of Colorado Springs, CO, James and his wife Rita Heimsoth of LeMars, Mary and her husband Curt Harms of Mitchell, SD, Dorothy Peterson of Cozad, NE, Steve and his wife Vicki Heimsoth of Mitchell, SD, and Jan and her husband Joe Schmillen of Cherokee.
