Egland leaving BVRMC after building physical therapy program

Monday, July 8, 2002

Roger Egland will be leaving Buena Vista Regional Health Center in July, after leading the hospital through the transition from a contracted physical therapy service to an in-house integrated rehabilitation program.

Egland had been on contract with the hospital for two years, and has also played a leadership role in developing rehabilitation staff and working toward the design of the new BVRMC rehab center to be under construction soon.

Egland plans to work with his rental properties, as well as spending time with family, traveling, golf an other hobbies.

Although his departure from BVRMC is not unexpected, the staff regrets to see Egland leave, but congratulates him on fulfilling the significant objectives of the rehabilitation development and wishes him the best as he moves on to enjoy the fruits of his labors, said BVRMC CEO Jim Sinek.
